Since 2011, national math test scores from the National Assessment of Educational Progress, or NAEP, fell by 17 points for eighth graders and 10 points for fourth graders in data analysis, statistics and probability. Pandemic effects were only a contributing factor, and the drop-offs outpaced declines in other content areas.

Tables tool This tool is designed to filter tables and compute certain metrics from the information they contain. It uses the LLM’s ability to write Python code for data analysis. Some out-of-the-box data analysis tools, such as LangChain’s Pandas agent , are available in open source libraries.
